Privacy statement-Which information do we collect from you

For agents the information we collect through our questionnaire are

  • your name,
  • contact details
  • the agency you work for ,
  • your licence or registration number,
  • your method of selling,
  • your past sales in one area.
  • your membership to your state real estate institute
  • Any other information you choose to share with us

If you have completed a sales of property through AgentFinder we will also collect

  • the date of the signed agency agreement,
  • the price the property is sold
  • the date of the settlement.

The information  we collect from you are handed over to the enquirer or property owners that use our service to enable us to provide the service and for the purpose of invoicing you.  We may pass on your details to credit recovery agency if you have not respected our terms and conditions. We also need those information to verify your identity.

You can send us an email to contact@agentfinderservices.com.au if you need to inform us of any changes to keep your details accurate.

All your information are kept securely in electronic form.  We are not responsible for any leaks that may occurred at the fault of a third party ( server, software companies…).

We use an anti virus software that is always up to date.

Only AgentFinder administrative staff and the AgentFinder representative in  your area can access the information we collect from you.

You may  request that we no longer keep any information from you, by doing so in writing at info@agentfinderservices.com.au.   We will comply to your request within 2 weeks.

At any time you can ask us what information we keep from you. At any time you can correct the information we keep from you.

We will require a proof of your identity to discuss, divulge any information we hold from you. We will not accept request from any party to give  your information unless required by Law.

All changes to our privacy policy will be communicated to you while we hold your information.

Payment of the referral is done through the use of a 3rd party payment facility.  We do not know or hold any information regarding your bank details.  AgenFinder is not liable for any loss occurred due to the payment of the referral fee.

For enquirer or property owner

The information we collect from you are

  • your name,
  • contact details
  • address of the property to be sold
  • details about  the property to be sold,
  • the date of the signed agency agreement
  • the price the property is sold
  • the settlement date

We need to know those information to provide you with the service you requested.

Agentfinder will refrain contacting the property owner(s) and may only do so

– to investigate a dispute with a real estate agency or agent.

– to gather information on the professionalism of the chosen agent or agency

– for marketing purposes, to gather information to improve our services or to offer a new  service.  Property owners can opt out  to be contacted for marketing purposes by sending an email to contact@agentfinderservices.com.au.

Agentfinder will act accordingly within 2 weeks.

We keep your email and name  for marketing purposes and to investigate a sale of property to enable us to invoice an agent to obtain our referral fee.  We do not like constant emails ourselves so we will refrain of doing so.   You can wish not to be emailed further by us by making a request in writing at contact@agentfinderservices.com.au.  We will comply to remove your details within 2 weeks of receiving your demand.

We believe in discretion and therefore will not make your name public on any of our platforms . However for marketing purposes we would like from time to time to advertise online when an agency or an agent referred by us sells a property.  We will never do so without a written permission from the agent, agency and the property owner.
